This processing workshop is a core functional facility of the Xuwei New District Agricultural Products Traceability Cold Chain Logistics Service Demonstration Base, constructed and operated by Xuwei Port Holding Group. As a key part of the base’s first-phase project, it is closely matched with the supporting inspection and storage integrated warehouses, forming a complete operation system for agricultural products cold chain logistics and processing.
The processing workshop adopts a modern cold chain processing design concept, focusing on standardized layout, hygienic environmental control and efficient operation. It is mainly used for bonded processing of fruits and vegetables, frozen fresh products, import and export aquatic products, and meat products, undertaking core processing links such as sorting, cleaning, cutting, and packaging of agricultural and sideline products. The workshop is equipped with professional processing equipment and a multi-temperature zone control system, which can effectively ensure the freshness and quality of products during processing and meet the relevant national food safety standards and import and export inspection and quarantine requirements.
As an important part of the Xuwei New District Agricultural Products Traceability Cold Chain Logistics Service Demonstration Base, a key project supported by central budget funds, this processing workshop closely connects the upstream and downstream resources of the cold chain industry. It undertakes the important task of processing and sorting agricultural products collected from the central and western regions and imported from overseas, and provides high-quality processed products for domestic and foreign markets such as South Korea, Japan, Europe and the United States.
